Bloody Mary 'Bat' Chicken Wings | Halloween Dinner Recipe I just love Halloween and all the fun creative activities. I found a REALLY Creepy and cool Halloween dinner recipe, which I believe was first posted by "Thrillist", I tried finding the original video but was unable. Ingredients; ˟ 18-24 Whole Chicken Wings ˟ Black & Red Gel Food Coloring ˟ Meat Injector ˟ Lemon ˟ Lime ˟ Hot Sauce (24 oz) or 2 bottles ˟ 1 Tbs Cornstarch ˟ 1 1/2 cups Bloody Mary Mix [Bloody Mary Mix] ˟ 1 1/2 cups Tomato Juice ˟ 2 Tbs Pickle Juice ˟ Juice from a Lemon & Lime ˟ 1 Tbs Worcestershire Sauce ˟ 1 1/2 tsp Tabasco Sauce ˟ 1 1/2 tsp Celery Salt ˟ 3/4 tsp Garlic Powder ˟ Pinch of Salt and Pepper ˟ 1 Tbs Cornstarch * This basic recipe can be used as a drink mix but I added 1 TBS of cornstarch to thicken Directions; ˟ Add 24 oz or two bottles of hot sauce into a large bowl ˟ Add 1/4th of the worcestershire sauce ˟ Add 1 Tbs of black gel food coloring ˟ Whisk together ˟ Place the whole chicken wings into a container, cover with black hot sauce then cover and chill 6 hours ˟ Flip the 'bat' wings every 30 minutes for 3 hours, then every 1 hour for the remaining 3 hours [Bloody Mary Sauce] ˟ Add the tomato juice into a saucepan ˟ Add the remaining worcestershire sauce ˟ Add tabasco sauce ˟ Slice a lemon and lime, then juice over the saucepan ˟ Add celery salt, salt, pepper, and garlic powder then whisk together ˟ Bring to a boil over a medium heat, mix cornstarch that has been mixed with a little water (slurry) ˟ Add the pickle juice then whisk together, reduce into a thick sauce ˟ Remove off the heat an add the red gel food coloring, whisk together then let cool ˟ Place the 'bat' chicken wings onto a raised broiler pan using a pair of tongs ˟ Fill the meat Injector with the bloody mary sauce, then inject each 'bat" wing with the sauce ˟ Place into a 375° f preheated oven, and bake 45 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 170 f ˟ Serve with ranch dressing and celery sticks ˟ Break open and enjoy!
