COOK WITH ME! HOW I MAKE A ROAST DINNER | WITH RECIPE | SafsLife
Hi guys! So this is exciting I love making roast dinners and I feel as though I’ve perfected my own unique style of it and I thought I’d share it with you! Here are the recipes! Vegetables: You can use any veggies you like! I used cherry tomatoes, peppers and onions but usually I love loads of garlic as it gets all mushy and tasty! To your veggies, add 2 tbsp olive oil 1/2 tsp mixed herbs 1/2 tsp dried mint salt pepper Chop the veggies into chunks. Mix it all up and stick it in the oven! Potatoes: Use as many potatoes as you think you need Place a lined baking sheet with a layer of olive oil on it into the oven to heat up. Boil the potatoes until they’re soft on the outside and almost cooked on the inside (check with a fork) Drain them and give them a shake in the sieve to rough the edges a bit. Move them back to the pan Add: 3 or 4 tbsp olive oil 1/2 tsp mixed herbs 1/2 tsp dried mint pepper sea salt (you can use normal salt if you don’t have sea salt) Mix well to coat all of the potatoes. Place onto the heated baking sheet and stick back into the oven. Chicken! roughly slice an onion and place on a lined baking dish, use about 2 tbsp olive oil to coat the onions. 2 tbsp olive oil 1tsp garlic paste 1tsp ginger paste 1tsp salt 1tsp cumin powder 1tsp coriander powder 1/4 tsp tumeric powder 1tsp crushed green chillies mix all of the above well, rub into chicken. Stick it into the oven! Don’t forget stuffing , gravy veggies and yorkshire puddings! Cook everything until it looks done (upto an hour, keep checking on everything every 20 mins, draining chicken juices for the gravy!) Enjoy!!!
